The activity is designed to provide children with an empathetic and conscious ecological education that aims to respect all forms of life in the marine ecosystem.
Using a dedicated card game, children will reflect and discuss the biodiversity just a few meters from the shore; the kind that is accessible with a bucket and often ends up in it during children’s play: crabs, jellyfish, and small creatures that are part of an already challenged ecosystem. We will encourage reflection on the need to act consciously, educating the young ones to love and respect the sea.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
-Raise children’s awareness of respecting marine animals (even the smallest or least considered ones) like jellyfish, crabs, and many others
-Promote awareness of the seagrass ecosystems, emphasizing their importance for the health of the sea and beaches
-Teach not to interfere with the natural environment, avoiding capturing and disturbing marine creatures
-Encourage responsible behaviors, promoting the protection of biodiversity
-Foster an empathetic ecological education

It takes place in the classroom and is further explored with specific outings and outdoor activities in two meetings of two hours each
