The hikes are designed to stimulate the senses of young children, allowing them to begin understanding how even a “simple” natural environment (and possibly near urban centers) can hide a small world that just needs a bit of attention to be revealed.
We will pause to listen to the songs of birds in different types of ecosystems/altitudinal horizons, to try to recognize them.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
-Raise children’s awareness of the small details of nature to learn about the concept of biodiversity in the forest ecosystem
-Stimulate curiosity by deepening their interest in the natural surroundings
-Encourage scientific and naturalistic learning
-Improve concentration, particularly the ability to observe and listen actively, isolating themselves from distractions
-Work together to achieve a goal while having fun
Activity dedicated to primary school
Outdoor excursions, divided into hiking days by "altitudinal zones": near the sea, in the hills, and in the mountains (if possible, also in alpine environments).
